It seems simple, but it’s true! You’ll get the absolute best choices of locations and types of rooms at the very beginning.
Unlike other types of vacations, cruises aren’t known for having reliable “last minute deals.” So if you have your heart set on a cruise vacation, I wouldn’t count on finding one close to your desired travel date, especially if you are traveling with a large group such as a family reunion. With a cruise, it pays to book as early as possible to get the best deal and selections of rooms and excursions.
